A former freestyle swimmer at Adelphi from 1993-97, Linda Jelovich took over the reins of the men's and women's swimming and diving programs in 1998 and continued in that role for 16 seasons. Over that time, her teams consistently posted Top 10 finishes at the Metropolitan Conference Championships, including the men's program's first-ever Met title in 2010. In her first decade coaching the Panthers, Jelovich was responsible for helping to re-write all but three school records. Nine of those records were broken by the men's team in the 2008-09 campaign. That same season, Jelovich coached the school's first qualifier (Corey McKee) in nearly 20 years for the NCAA Division II National Championships.
