Adelphi University Athletics

Santostefane was the Outstanding Freshman Athlete for the 1957-58 season, Most Valuable Swimmer in 1959-60 and 1960-1961, and Outstanding Senior Athlete of the Year  in 1960-61 in which he became the only Adelphi athlete, at the time, to ever set a national record. He was also elected to “Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities, he was on the Dean’s List and elected to Flambeau,   the men’s honor society.
