Adelphi University Athletics

Participated on the men’s basketball team from 1953-1956. As a junior, he averaged 14.6 points per game. During his senior campaign, he was co-captain of the team and led the Panthers in scoring with 16.3 points per game.  He finished his career with 932 points. Halfond was a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta, a pre-med honorary fraternity and was also a member of the Biology Club. He also served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Men’s Athletic Association.
