Totino was a four-year letterwinner as a Panther softball player. Immediately helping the team as a freshman, she saved her fellow teammate, pitcher Julie Bolduc’s perfect game in the 1984 College World Series with a diving catch in the outfield. She also helped her team to a fifth place NCAA finish during her sophomore year. She shined in her junior year as a shortstop, recording 37 hits on the season. Her senior year was highlighted with 34 hits, 21 RBI’s and five triples en route to a second place finish at the NCAA Division I South Regional. Additionally, she ranks fifth among all Panthers in career triples with 13.
