In 1988, as a junior, he set the school record for Division I single-season saves (192).  One year later, he surpassed his own record, with 196 saves.  During that senior year, he led Adelphi to a 12-3 overall record and helped the #5 nationally ranked Panthers to the NCAA Tournament. He finished the season with a .636 save percentage and an 8.98 goals against average.  He was awarded the Kitay-Loughlin Award for most outstanding defensive player during both junior and senior years.
