Adelphi University Athletics

Watkins served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He was a member of the 1951-1952 Adelphi men’s basketball team that captured the league title.  He was employed for 17 years by the NBA as the Director of Community and Special Programs.  He was also a Referee Development Administrator.
