Adelphi University Athletics

Rosalind Tooker (Baldwin) was on the women’s basketball team. She was co-chairman of the Refreshment Committee for the All College Picnic that was held on Saturday, October 7, 1939.  She and Blanche Pinnell walked nearly a mile backwards to see their name in print in 1936. She was one of 12 members chosen for the first Faculty Student party in 1936. In 1938, she was a cast member in the play, Pride and Prejudice. She played golf in 1937.
