Adelphi University Athletics

Purdie was a Panther lacrosse player for two seasons from 1988-89.  In that time, he was a two-time All-American and was selected to play in the 1989 North-South Collegiate All-Star Game.  He appears in the record books a number of times.  On a division I level, he is tied for ninth in single season points with 44, tied for eighth in assists with 29, and appears on the ground ball list three times while topping it with 109.  Under Division I career records, he is sixth in points with 100, fifth in assists with 52 and second in ground balls with 269.
