Kaitlyn Carter '11, '18 was a driving force behind one of the most dominant eras in Adelphi women’s lacrosse history, helping the Panthers become the first Division II women’s program to win three consecutive NCAA National Championships.

A Mineola native, she made an immediate impact as a freshman, starting all 17 games and earning East Coast Conference and ECAC rookie of the year honors after posting 61 points.

Carter went on to earn IWLCA/US Lacrosse All-America recognition in each of her first two seasons, including a first team nod in 2009, and delivered clutch postseason performances, highlighted by five goals in the 2010 title game to be named to the all-tournament team.

She remains top-10 in multiple career categories (at the time of induction) and was integral to Adelphi's early NE10 championship success, excelling equally as a student and leader. She becomes just the eighth women’s lacrosse student-athlete to be voted into the Adelphi hall of fame.
