In a meet in 1965, Galluzzi took his second first place of the meet as he won the 200 yard breast stroke. Len received NCAA College Division All-American honors in the 1968 season. Galluzzi captured his second consecutive Metropolitan Swimming Conference Collegiate championship in the 200-yard breaststroke with a conference record-selling time of 2:18.2, finished runner-up to Eastern Illinois Daniel Furlan in the event, swimming the distance in 2:19.9 at the 12th annual National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics swimming and diving championship at St. Cloud, Minnesota. On February 1, 1966, Len Galluzzi won the 200-yard individual medley and the 200-yard breaststroke.
On February 12, 1966, Len was part of a quartet with John Monten, Barry Gross, and Gene Peters eclipsed the school’s record in the 400 yard medley relay with a blistering time of 4:01.5. Also in the event, Len tied the school record in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:32.2. In 1967, Len set a pool record of 2:24.0 a career high and a new Adelphi record. At the 3rd Annual, Collegiate Division NCAA Championships held at Illinois State University in 1966, Len Galluzzi along with John Monten broke for Adelphi swimming records. Galluzzi competed in the 100 and 200 yard breaststroke taking 14th and 15th place respectively and was the high scorer for Adelphi in the event.
