Ficke Panther Golf Classic

Each summer, the athletic department holds its annual golf outing, presented by Coach USA. The Janet L. Ficke Golf Classic was established in 2005 to support athletics at Adelphi University and is open to all supporters of Adelphi Athletics. Over the past decade, the outing has raised over $160,000 for intercollegiate athletics at Adelphi University.

The miletsone 20th Ficke Panther Golf Classic is scheduled for Monday, July 21, 2025 - location TBD.

Hall of Fame Dinner

The Adelphi University Athletic Hall of Fame was founded in 1961, under the direction of former Athletic Director George Faherty, to honor those former Adelphi athletes, coaches and friends who have distinguished themselves during their time at the University or thereafter. The Hall of Fame committee is made up of alumni, athletic staff and administrators. Nominations are accepted year-round, with selections made in the spring. The event is held biennially, with the next ceremony occurring in the fall of 2020.
