Hall of Fame
Margaret was part of 3 ECAC Championships and earned honors in 1986 selected to the Division I All-Region team. She served an assistant coach for the women’s soccer program from 1987 to 1989. Varas was part of the 1989 team that earned the first ever bid in Adelphi women’s soccer history to the NCAA Division II Championships. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Finance from Adelphi’s School of Business Administration. In the 1986-87 season, Margaret played on the women’s basketball team which won the EmpiresState Conference Championships.
