Trautwig joined MSG Network in September, 1989 after working with ABC Sports since 1984, participating on nine Emmy Award-winning programs.  From 1980 through 1985, Trautwig was the leading sports personality on the USA Network.  During that period, he handled more than 500 cablecasts, including NCAA basketball (play-by-play); NHL hockey (host); and a variety of tennis events highlighted by the U.S. and French Opens.
