Brenna Martini, a dominant offensive presence and stalwart third baseman for Adelphi softball from 2015–18, becomes the softball program’s 19th Hall of Fame inductee.

She graduated as the all-time leader in five offensive categories—marks that still stand (as of Dec. 2025)—and ranks in the top ten in four others.

A three-time NFCA All-American, martini powered Adelphi to consecutive division ii women’s college world series appearances in 2015 and 2016. She was the first softball player in NE10 history to earn three straight player of the year awards and later added NE10 Woman of the Year and Adelphi Female Athlete of the Year honors to her resume.

A top candidate for national player of the year recognition, she also excelled academically with three CoSIDA Academic All-America selections. Martini later joined Adelphi's coaching staff and is continuing her career climbing the ranks - in Jan. 2026, she was elevated to Associate Head Coach at UMass Lowell. Her grandfather, the late joe martini, was part of the first ever Adelphi Hall of Fame induction class in 1961.
