Scott Reh haas enjoyed a career as both an athlete as well as an athletic administrator. He was a standout athlete at Rocky Point as both a soccer and lacrosse player as well as a successful collegian. Reh has experienced success at all levels of sport that has earned him a spot in the Hall of Fame.

He is a member of Rocky Point High School's Hall of Fame for his accomplishments as a lacrosse and soccer player. Reh was a two-time all-county selection and team MVP and was honored his senior year as the Most Outstanding Player in Suffolk County and All-American while garnering the Ray Enners Award. The two-time team captain left his mark as the single season record holder in point, 154 (99 assists and 55 goals) and also led New York State in scoring his senior year. In soccer, he was three-time All-County Honoree, two-time team captain and MVP and part of the 1984 New York State Championship team, for which he was named Most Valuable Player of the championships game. He was also named Rocky Point High School Athlete of the Year as both a junior and senior.

Before his high scvhool career was over, Scott also etched his name into the New York state record book in two categories. To date, he ranks 13th in the single season assists category with 99 and 15th in the single season points category with 154.

Scott, a physical education major, made his was to Adelphi in 1985 where he was a four-year member of the lacrosse team coached by Paul Doherty. During his time, he led the Panthers in assists for three years in '87, '88, '89 with 22, 30, and 43 assists respectively.

Reh was part of the 1989 team that set numerous Division I school records; most games won in a season, 12; most consecutive games won, eight; moints points scored in a season, 397; most goals scored in a season, 235; most goals scored in a game, 28 vs. Arizona; most assists in a season, 189; most assists in a game, 23 vs. Arizona; highest final national ranking, 4th and fewest goals allowed in a game, two. Also as a member of the 1987 team, they set the school record of fewest goals allowed in a season, 99.

Over his four year career, the two-time team captain helped the Panther Stickmen amass a 31-19 record. His talent and hard work helped his team reach the NCAA Tournament on two occasions in 1987 and 1989. During his senior year, he was invited to play in the prestigious North/South All-Star game in which he represented Adelphi well.

The Adelphi Record books featured Reh on numerous occasions. They include; tied for second (with his brother Jeff) for single season points with 68; third in single season assists with 43; third in career points with 161; second in career assists with 102; and fourth in career ground balls with 207.

His Talents on the lacrosse field did not go unnoticed as he was drafted by the New York Saints straight out of college. However, an unfortunate injury to his leg cut his professional career short.
