Results
Staten Island, N.Y. - Looking to post improved times on the NCAA list this past weekend, the Adelphi University track and field program was represented by a handful of individuals at the Fastrack Last Chance yesterday at the Ocean Breeze Complex.

Angela Mongitore entered the weekend with the hopes of qualifying for the NCAA Indoor Championships for the third straight season. The senior helped her cause by running a season-best 55.13 time in the 400 meter, claiming second place overall. Meanwhile, the time puts her 11th on the NCAA list as the selections for the March 11th and 12th Championships approach.

Also sitting within the top-25 on the NCAA list is Mary Camarano with a 8.72 time in the 60 meter hurdles, recroded at the Spartan Regional Invite on January 15. Yesterday, the junior claimed seventh place in the event behind a 9.11 clocking. Mongitore and Camarano also competed in the 4x400 relay along with Gabriela Saltos and Nicole Elarde. The quartet posted a second place time of 3:34.18.

Sean Grady bettered his time in the 800 meter to 1:52.87 during yesterday's meet, jumping to 29th on the NCAA list. The finish helped him take 11th place yesterday while Anthony Coccia was 17th in the same event at a 1:56.55 time. Meanwhile, Michael Grady became one of six freshmen in the country to record an NCAA provisional qualfying time in the mile with a 4:11.89 time for 12th place. He currently sits 41st on the NCAA list.

The Panthers await the selections to be announced this Tuesday evening on NCAA.com.

Notes
- Mongitore finished sixth in the 400 meter Indoor Championships during the 2014 weekend. Last season, she took ninth place in the preliminary race.
