Luke Pascale highlighted the Adelphi University track and field program effort at the 2016 IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Championships during his performances in the 400 meter hurdles.
Pascale improved upon his career-best time in the 400 meter hurdles during the preliminary race with a clocking of 52.89, bettering his NCAA provisional qualifying time. The timing earned him eighth place and landed him in the finals race where the junior again finished eighth behind a clocking of 54.89.
During the 400 meter hurdle preliminary for the women,
Mary Camarano closed in at a time of 1:02.67 to earn 17th place. Meanwhile,
Angela Mongitore finished just outside the top-eight during the 400 meter run with a 10th place showing of 55.01.
Three competitors finished for the Brown and Gold in the men's 800 meter race that included
Anthony Seara and
William Marois finishing with nearly identical times. Seara clocked in at 1:57.79 for 47th while Marois took 48th place at a time of 1:57.84.
Sean Grady timed in at 2:09.45 to round out the trio in 55th place.
Mongitore currently owns a provisional qualifying time of 54.68 in the 400 meter while Camarano sits at 1:01.79 in the 400 meter hurdles. The list of accepted entries to the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be announced this Tuesday at 6:00 pm.

- Mongitore earned All-American recognition at the 2015 Outdoor Championships during the 400 meter.
