Princeton, N.J. - After posting two NCAA Division II provisional qualifying times last weekend, the Adelphi University track and field program added another pair this past Friday and Saturday at the Larry Ellis Invite hosted by Princeton University.
Angela Mongitore, who represented the Panthers at the Indoor Championships this past March, posted a seventh place time of 55.29 during the 400 meter to notch one of the provisional times. Her clocking also places her third in the NE-10 and currently has the senior 20th on the NCAA list.
Luke Pascale put forth the other provisional time during the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 53.47 for 10th place. His time ranks him second in the NE-10 as well as 25th in the NCAA. The junior also tied his season best in the 110 meter hurdles with a 15.00 clocking for 16th place and match his second place ranking in the conference.
Also placing within the top 10 of the NE-10 performance list were
Matthew Moody and
Michael Grady. Moody claimed 44th overall at the event during the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a 9:50.28 time to rank seventh in the NE-10. Meanwhile,
Michael Grady moved up to fourth in the league in the 1,500 meter after clocking in at 3:53.94 for 50th.
Next on the schedule for the Brown and Gold is the Penn Relays next weekend starting on Thursday.

Sean Grady currently ranks 26th in the 800 meter on the NCAA list while
Nicole Elarde ranks 40th in the women's side of the 800 meter.
