Princeton, N.J. - Two out of three first place finishes came from the hurdle events for the Adelphi University track and field program this weekend as the group competed at the Princeton University hosted Sam Howell Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Luke Pascale notched first place during the 110 meter hurdles behind a 15.37 time while
Mary Camarano clocked in at 15.49 during the finals of the 100 meter hurdles for the victory. Pascale added a third place time of 56.88 in the 400 meter hurdles. Meanwhile,
Kenneth Coleman earned third during Pascale's win at a time of 17.21 before taking fourth in the 400 meter distance at 1:00.59.
Camarano was also part of the first place finish for the Panthers in the 4x100 meter relay, running the third leg of the quarter along with
Ena Otaka,
Idongesit Ekong, and
Aleisha Jeffers. The group put forth a winning time of 51.17 to edge out NYU. Otaka provided a solo effort of second place in the 100 meter dash behind a time of 13.01 while Jeffers finished just behind at 13.05 for third place.
Sean Grady posted two top-four finishes during the 800 meter invitational and 1,500 meter runs. On Friday, the senior ran a 1:52.36 during 800 meter before returning for a 4:07.68 clocking in the 1,500 meter on Saturday.
Austin Drescher clocked in at 23.40 for second place in the 200 meter while also claiming fifth in the 100 meter on Saturday with a 11.56 finish. During the 800 meter run,
Anthony Seara and
William Marois finished back-to-back with respective times of 1:59.98 and 2:00.17.
The Brown and Gold return this weekend on Saturday for the two-day Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell in Lewisburg, Pa.
Notes:
- Grady's 800 meter time currently ranks him first on the peformance list in the Northeast-10 Conference.

Angela Mongitore (400 meter),
Luke Pascale (110 meter hurdles), and
Mary Camarano (400 meter hurdles) are also top ranked in the league.
