Staten Island, N.Y. - Continued races with NCAA provisional times helped the Adelphi University women's track and field team claim eighth place among 20 teams at the Spartan Regional Preview on Friday at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex while the men ranked 17th out of 19 teams.

Mary Camarano continued to improve upon her 60 meter hurdle time with a 8.72 performance in the finals to earn third place. Nicole Elarde also highlighted the effort on the day by contributing 10 points behind an 800 meter finish of 2:23.25.

The women's 4x400 meter relay team also aided in the Brown and Gold finish with 10 points. Aleisha Jeffers and Gabriela Saltos joined Mongtiore and Camarano to combined for a 4:04.26 finishing time.
