North Attleboro, Mass. - First year Morgan Meyer impressed over the weekend in Colorado, earning Northeast 10 Rookie of the Week, announced on Monday. 

Meyer blasted a career-high 22 kills in a five-set win over Colorado State Pueblo, hitting an impressive .333 to boot. Over four games at the Royce Cappis Volleyball Tournament, she totaled 36 kills, averaging 3.27 kills per set with a personal hitting percentage of .270. 

That win also marked a special milestone for head coach Danielle MacKnight, as her 400th career victory in 20 seasons at the helm of Adelphi volleyball. 

The team returns to action this week when they take on some local competition at the Wilmington Regional Invitational, hosted by Wilmington University. The Cats will take on the Tigers of Holy Family to start the weekend on Thursday.
