North Attleboro, Mass. — The Adelphi men's soccer team earned its first conference win of the season over the weekend and freshman Sam Wraith was a big part of it. On Monday afternoon, Wraith was named the Northeast 10 Rookie of the Week for his efforts.

In Adelphi's game at AIC on Wednesday, Wraith scored his first career goal and then followed that performance up with a brace in the team's win at Saint Michael's on Saturday.

The Oxford, England, native potted a back heel right in front of the net in the 38th minute, which wound up being the game-winner, and then scored a perfectly placed header in the 45th minute.

Wraith and the Adelphi men's soccer team will be back on the pitch Tuesday at 7 p.m. when they host Pace.
