Garden City, N.Y. – Head coach Chris Megaloudis and the Adelphi men's soccer team played host to Caldwell on Tuesday night as a part of PantherFest.

Series History:

• This was the first-ever matchup between Adelphi (2-2-2, 0-0-0 NE10) and Caldwell.

Highlights:

• Agustin Soldo scored his first two goals of the season, the first being a penalty in the fifth minute and the second being a beautiful strike from outside of the box.
• Edoardo Aramini scored his first collegiate goal.
• Enrico Cesarini Sforza's second goal of the season capped off Adelphi's 4-0 win.
• Andrea Farinella made four saves and earned his third clean sheet of the season.
• Stefano Linardos and Louis Spillane made their collegiate debuts. Linardos earned his first career point, an assist.
• Logan Herger made his Adelphi debut.

How It Happened:

• The Panthers got off to a dream start, taking the lead in just the fifth minute.
• Matthew Murphy drew a foul in the box and Soldo buried the penalty kick to put Adelphi up 1-0.
• The ensuing 15 minutes were closely contested until Adelphi was awarded a throw-in in the Cougars' end.
• Louis Pelo tossed the ball toward the middle of the field, where it deflected off a Caldwell defender and to the foot of Soldo. Without taking a touch, the Panther captain fired a shot to the top of the net and past the Cougar keeper.
• Adelphi kept the pressure on but went into the half content with a 2-0 edge.
• Just like at the beginning of the game, Adelphi started the second half off hot.
• After earning a corner kick in the 52nd minute, Arik Landau placed a perfect corner kick into the box, where it found Aramini, who put the ball in the back of the net for the first goal of his career.
• Caldwell tried to change up its lineup, making 10 subs in less than 20 minutes, but the Adelphi back line continued to be a brick wall.
• As time wound down, a kick deep into Caldwell's zone bounced off the Cougar keeper and left a wide-open net for Cesarini Sforza. The senior calmly found the net and finished off Adelphi's 4-0 victory.
