Mansfield, Mass. – Adelphi University's women's golf program has been ranked first in the 2025 Northeast 10 Women's Golf Pre-Championship Poll, announced by the conference Friday morning.
The Panthers received a total of 25 votes, including five first-place votes, leading in both categories. Coming in second was Bentley University with 17 votes and one first-place vote. Rounding out the rest of the rankings were Assumption, Franklin Pierce, and Saint Anselm—each earning 13 votes—followed by Jefferson with nine votes.
The Panthers have been consistent through their three tournaments so far this season, finishing second in each. With the NE10 Championship as their next stop, the team hopes to bring home the title.
Last season, the Brown and Gold placed third at the NE10 Championship, with Filippa Schulze Doering and Ivory Drusch leading the way. This year, both return as key contributors, joined by standout freshman Nikola Truhlarova—a recent NE10 Player and Rookie of the Week—who is coming off the first individual victory of her collegiate career.
The NE10 Championship is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 30 – Oct. 1, at Stonebridge Country Club in Goffstown, N.H., where head coach Bill Bresnan and the Panthers will look to compete for the conference title.
