Manchester, N.H. — The Adelphi University women's golf team claimed first place on Tuesday afternoon at the Saint Anselm Invitational.

The Panthers posted a combined 45-over-par as a team, with all five golfers finishing in the top 15. They edged out Assumption University by six strokes and finished 19 shots ahead of third-place Bentley University.

The team was led by Nikola Truhlarova, who shot a seven-over 77 to pace the Panthers. She made par on 11 of 18 holes, earning a second-place individual finish.

Ivory Drusch followed closely, placing fifth with a nine-over 79. She recorded eight pars and one birdie during her round.

Lauren Jaskier (9th), Filippa Schulze Doering (13th), and Jenny Kim (14th) rounded out the starting lineup. Jaskier carded two birdies to finish at 14-over, while Schulze Doering recorded seven pars to finish one shot back at 15-over. Kim made five pars en route to an 18-over finish.

This fall has showcased the continued excellence of head coach Bill Bresnan's program. Following Tuesday's first-place finish, the team has yet to place lower than second in any tournament this season.

Bresnan and the Panthers will enjoy some time off before turning their focus to the spring portion of the season, scheduled to begin in March.
