Goffstown, N.H. — The Adelphi University's women's golf team captured their first-ever Northeast 10 Conference Championship title on Wednesday afternoon, as all five golfers finished in the top-15 of the two-day event.

The team was led by Filippa Schulze Doering, who placed second overall, behind individual Champion Isabel Gonzalez-Villarreal, from Bentley University. The Falcons - in just their second year as a program - finished second as a team.

In a strong all-around team performance, the Panthers shot a combined 88-over — posting a 52-over as a team on day one, followed by a 36-over collectively on day two.

Schulze Doering tied for second place, finishing the tournament at 20-over par. The junior improved from day one to day two, shaving four strokes off her score (84–80), and recorded three birdies and 18 pars across her two rounds.

One shot behind her was Nikola Truhlarova, who placed fifth at 21-over for the tournament. The freshman bounced back with an impressive 78 in her second round, tallying four birdies over the two-day span.

Ivory Drusch tied for sixth, carding a 23-over total. After opening with an 85, she improved to an 82 in round two and made two birdies across her 36 holes.

Just one shot behind Drusch was Jenny Kim, who finished 24-over to place eighth overall. She displayed steady play with matching 84s in both rounds and recorded two birdies during her second round.

Rounding out the lineup was Lauren Jaskier, who finished just outside the top 10 in 12th place overall. She shot a 31-over for the tournament, including an 84 on day two, contributing valuable points toward the team's historic win.

Head Coach Bill Bresnan shared his thoughts after securing his first NE10 Championship: "It was fun to watch the team execute all the hard work they've put into their games. They made it a goal after last year's NE10s and were able to achieve it. I'm so happy for this team!"

The victory marks the program's inaugural trophy, after finishing as runner-ups in the 2022 tournament and the first NE10 title for the 2025-26 school year for the Panthers.

Bresnan and the Panthers will return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 7, as they compete in the Battle at Bull's Bridge in South Kent, Conn. The one-day tournament will be hosted by the University of Hartford.
