North Attleboro, Mass. – Adelphi University women's golf's Filippa Schulze Doering has been named the Northeast 10 Player of the Week, as announced Wednesday morning.
Schulze Doering is currently playing her best golf of the season. At the conference tournament last Wednesday, the junior tied for second, shooting 20-over par across two rounds, tallying three birdies and helping lead the Panthers to the program's first-ever NE10 championship.
Competing at Bull's Bridge Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon, she fired a 73 in her single round of play, carding six birdies and sinking clutch putts on holes 16 and 18 to finish one-over par and secure the individual title.
Schulze Doering and the Panthers return to action on Monday, Oct. 20, as they travel to Manchester, N.H. to compete in the Saint Anselm Invitational, which will conclude on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at Derryfield Country Club.
