North Attleboro, Mass. - Adelphi University's volleyball tandem of Macarty McQueen and Ana Carolina Westerich were named the Northeast 10 Player and Setter of the Week, respectively, announced by the conference office on Monday.

Macarty averaged nearly five kills per set through 14 sets, as the Panthers pulled off an undefeated weekend at the Wildcat Regional Invitational. Her best game of the week was a double-double performance with 16 kills and 14 digs in a sweep of Wilmington. 

Impressively, McQueen posted a .392 hitting percentage, committing just 13 errors on 120 attempts while racking up 60 kills over four matches. Additionally, she accumulated 35 digs, averaging 2.50 per set. 

Westerich cleared 30+ assists in each of the four games the Panthers played, leading to four victories. She had a weekend-high 46 assists against Daemen University in a five-set win. 

Westerich also notched her fourth double-double of the season with 36 assists and 12 digs against Wilmington University. Through four matches, she averaged 10.50 assists per set and currently leads the conference with 407 assists after three weeks of action. 

The Cats look to continue their win streak when they take on Mercy University on Tuesday, Sept. 23, before traveling to take on the University of Bridgeport on Thursday in non-conference action.
