Garden City, N.Y. – The Adelphi University field hockey team has unveiled its 18-game schedule for the upcoming 2025 season.
Head coach Jess Mulhern and her squad return to action following their fourth consecutive NE10 Tournament appearance, with hopes of bringing the championship back to Garden City.
The Panthers will open the season with a four-game road trip, beginning in Pennsylvania against Slippery Rock on Sept. 4 at 1 p.m. After a quick stop back to the island to face Molloy (Sept. 10), they return to the Keystone State for two matchups against members of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC): East Stroudsburg (Sept. 14) and West Chester (Sept. 17).
Adelphi's home opener is set for Sept. 20, as the Brown and Gold welcome Franklin Pierce to Motamed Field for a noon kickoff, marking the start of conference play.
Next, the Panthers head to Pleasantville on Sept. 24 to take on Pace, followed by a trip to Manchester to face Southern New Hampshire (Sept. 27).
After a stretch on the road, Adelphi returns home to host Mercy (Sept. 30) and reigning national champion Saint Anselm (Oct. 4), marking the start of the second half of the season.
One of the most anticipated matchups of the year comes on Oct. 11 at 4 p.m., when the Brown and Gold host Bentley in a rematch of last year's NE10 Tournament loss, which ended in a shootout. The game follows a road contest at Southern Connecticut State on Oct. 8.
The Panthers then face defending NE10 champions Assumption on Oct. 18 and close out the road portion of their schedule with trips to STAC (Oct. 21) and AIC (Oct. 25).
The final home game of the regular season is set for Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. against Molloy, before Adelphi wraps up the season on the road at Saint Michael's (Nov. 1).
All NE10 contests will be streamed live on FloSports, with a special offer of $9.99/month or $5.99/month with an annual subscription for those with a .edu address.
The 2025 NE10 Field Hockey Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 4–9, hosted by the higher-seeded teams.
