Duke Releases 2025-26 Men's Basketball Schedule

Garden City, N.Y. — Entering his 11th season as the head coach of the Adelphi men's basketball team, Dave Duke has announced the schedule for the 2025-2026 season.

Last year saw a historic campaign for Duke and his squad as the Panthers claimed the Northeast 10 regular season title and received a bid the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2012.

The season tips-off in Pleasantville, N.Y. at Pace University, where the Cats will take part in the ECC/NE10 Conference Challenge. They take on Queens College on Friday, Nov. 14 at 5:00 p.m. in game number one before facing Long Island rival Molloy two days later on Nov. 16 at 1 p.m. 

The squad then continues its road trip, taking a drive to Southern Connecticut State on Wednesday, Nov. 19. for a rare non-conference tilt with the Owls. They then will head to the College of Staten on Saturday, Nov. 22 for a 3 p.m. tip before a game at Queens on Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 5 p.m.

The Panthers have their home opener in the Center for Recreation and Sport on Sunday, Nov. 30 when they host Chestnut Hill at 3:30 p.m.

Conference play will begin on Wednesday, Dec. 3 when American International comes to Garden City for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff. 

The first conference road game will take place on Saturday, Dec, 6 up in Rindge, N.H. against Franklin Pierce at 3:30 p.m.

The Panthers will then head to Mercy on Tuesday, Dec. 9 before hosting their NCAA East Region opponent Dominican (N.Y.) on a week later on Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. The homestand continues on Sunday, Dec. 21 when the Cats take on Goldey-Beacom in the CRS at 3:30 p.m.

The Brown and Gold will take a New Year's trip up north to Amherst, N.Y. for a date with national powerhouse Daemen (N.Y.) at 2:00 p.m.

Upon returning from Western New York, Adelphi's conference schedule will be in full swing starting on Sunday, Jan. 4 when Saint Anselm comes to town at 3:30 p.m.

January sees the Panthers traveling to Assumption (Jan. 7), Saint Michael's (Jan, 10), Southern Connecticut (Jan. 21), Bentley (Jan. 24) and Saint Anselm (Jan. 31) while they play host to Pace (Jan. 13), Southern New Hampshire (Jan. 17) and Franklin Pierce (Jan. 27).

The Panthers kick off February with back-to-back home games with Assumption on Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m. and Saint Michael's on Feb. 7 at 3:30 p.m. before going back on the road to face Pace (Feb, 10) and Southern New Hampshire (Feb. 14). The last three games of the regular season feature home bouts with Southern Connecticut State (Feb. 18) and Bentley (Feb. 21) before Adelphi ends the year at American International on Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m.

The first round of the NE10 Tournament will be held on Sunday, March 1, with the highest seeds hosting throughout. The final will take place on Saturday, March 7.
