Indianapolis, Ind. — The Adelphi men's basketball team's 2025-26 season will continue in the NCAA Tournament for the second season in a row.
On Sunday night, it was announced by the NCAA Selection Committee that the Panthers will be the No. 7 seed in the East Region, facing off with CACC Champion Felician at 2:30 p.m.
Jarnel Rancy, the NE10 Defensive Player of the Year, and the Panthers currently hold an 18-11 record, tied for the third most wins in a season for head coach
Dave Duke.
No. 1-seed Daemen, who also holds the country's No. 4 national ranking, will host the East Regional at its campus in Amherst N.Y.
The rest of the region includes NE10 regular season and conference tournament champion Saint Anselm, NE10 tournament runner-up Saint Michael's, conference foes Bentley and Assumption and CACC tournament runner-up Goldey-Beacom.
Dates for the East Regional are March 14, 15, and 17 at Daemen's
Charles L. & Gloria B. Lumsden Gymnasium. The NCAA Division II tournament consists of 64 teams at eight regional sites. The NCAA Elite Eight and Final Four will be held at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse in Pittsburgh. Pennsylvania from March 25-27. The championship game will be contested on April 5 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis in conjunction with the NCAA Men's Final Four.
