Dartmouth, Mass. - In her first outing of the 2024 season,
Katherine Marsh picked up where she left off, topping the Division II field at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, where she placed 12th overall.
Marsh was still 12 seconds from her best, but posted a 17:59.59 in the women's varsity 5K to lead the Panthers and all competitors from D2. Teammate
Lucia Kutner continued her stride, posting a time of 19:19.88 to place 60th in the field of over 300 competitors.
Maya Suarez fell inside the top-120 in a time of 19:53.70 which stands as a new personal-best as teammate
Caleigh Hopkins also recorded a PR on the 5K course with a time of 21:02.89.
The 'Cats race next week in the regional preview hosted by Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday, September 28. The team will return home and support the Panthers for a Cause 5K as part of Adelphi's annual Spirit Weekend on Sunday, Sept. 29, starting at 9:00 a.m.
