Bethlehem, Pa. - Isabel Marsh and Katherine Marsh continue to prove that they're not only two of the fastest runners in the Northeast-10 Conference, but all of NCAA's Division II. 

The twins paced the Adelphi University cross country team on Saturday at the annual Paul Short Run, but after two meets this season in which Isabel Marsh took top honors, including last time out when she set a school record in the 5k at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational, it was Katherine Marsh's turn to top the leaderboard.

She posted a 22:08.7 in the 6k, more than 30 seconds faster than her personal best, to beat her second-place sister by 7.2 seconds. Isabel Marsh's time of 22:15.5 was also a career best, bettering the mark of 22:33.6 she ran at the Paul Short course a year ago. 

As a team, the Adelphi women placed 15th, as the top-six finishers for AU also logged personal records. Notably, Lucia Kutner clocked in a 25:13.1, more than a minute faster than her previous 6k best of 26:24.1.

On the men's side, Jake Orfano led the way with a 53rd-place finish, as he ran the 8k course in 27:10.9. As a team, the Panthers placed 18th among the 34 teams that ran in the white category of the race's brown, gold and white designations.

The Panthers will return to race in two weeks' time as they travel to New Hampshire to compete in the annual Bruce Kirsch Cup on Oct. 13.
