Garden City, N.Y. - As part of Adelphi University's annual Spirit Weekend festivities, Head Coach Marc Danin and the swimming and diving program welcome its alumni back on October 14. 

In conjunction with other happenings on campus, the program will unveil its newest addition to the pool deck - a set of record boards - made possible by donations from family, friends of the team and alumni. Additionally, alumni are invited back to jump in the lanes for some friendly races against current members of the team, followed by attending other planned events throughout the weekend. 

Alongside the Panther Carnival, all are invited to purchase a ticket for Oktoberfest at Adelphi, a 21+ beer tent experience, served  by The Long Island Airstream Experience. For $15, patrons will receive beer specials, appetizers, and a special commemorative AU Oktoberfest glass for the first 100 attendees!
