Field Hockey's Lee, Peregoy Selected to NFHCA Division II Watchlist

Manahawkin, N.J. - On Thursday, Adelphi University field hockey standouts Amanda Lee and Kylie Peregoy were named to the NFHCA Division II Watchlist ahead of the 2023 season.

The NFHCA Division II Watchlist is made up of 35 returning athletes with the strongest potential for consideration for the 2023 NFHCA All-America teams.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have been recognized for their outstanding field hockey abilities within the past two years. Lee was named NE10 Second Team All-Conference in 2022, and Peregoy earned a spot on the NE10 All-Championship Team after the team's championship win last season.

Lee's addition to this list was followed by the junior's two goals in last night's opening 6-1 victory at Molloy, while Peregoy anchored the defense.

Adelphi had the third-most representation on the watchlist amongst NE10 schools with two. Bentley led the way with four student-athletes being recognized, followed by Saint Anselm's three. East Stroudsburg had the most representation of all 14 Division II schools with five members being honored.

The Brown and Gold will play their home opener vs. Newberry College tonight at Motamed Field. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
