Boston, Mass. - It was a weekend loaded with personal bests and NCAA provisional marks as the Adelphi University Track and Field programs competed at the David Hemery Valentine Invite, hosted by Boston University.

This weekend, Christopher Holt ran the fastest time in the men's 200 throughout the East Region at 21.50, earning an NCAA Division II provisional mark with his time ranking him 14th among D2 competition.

The Adelphi men's 4x400 ran a time of 3:21.42 for the fastest time in the NE10 this weekend and third best overall this season. The quartet of Bryce Ridley, Chuck Nwankwo, John Perez and Giovanni Senat is four seconds from a provisional mark and ranks third in the East Region as well.

The women's distance medley relay of Grace Minikel, Gabrielle Griffin, Isabel Marsh and Katherine Marsh ran the second best time in the East, at 11:54.74 to also set a new Adelphi program record in the specialty. Currently they rank 24th across all of NCAA Division II with their provisional mark.

Marsh also ran the third fastest time in NCAA Division II this weekend in the 800m event, clocking in at 2:08.57 to win her heat. Her time also sets a new Adelphi program record, one she previously held three seconds longer. K. Marsh was also the anchor leg of the women's DMR that set an Adelphi record.

The team will prepare for Northeast-10 Conference championships, set to start this Thursday, Feb. 16 at the Track at New Balance. More details on tickets and how to watch live will be posted prior to the first day of competition.
