The Adelphi competitor was the fifth overall finisher out of the East Region, which was led by East Region Champion Ashley Corcoran, who placed 88th by crossing the tape in 21:57.0.
In 2023, K. Marsh became the first Northeast-10 Individual champion for cross country, running a career-best and school record 21:38.1 6k time Sunday to top the leaderboard at the league meet, finishing first just over nine seconds ahead of her sister
Isabel Marsh (21:47.00).
The duo delivered a one-two punch in both the NE10 Championship and the East Region races, the pair trading places for the finish in the latter.
I. Marsh completed the regional course three seconds ahead of her NE10 champion sister, to win the regional title.
Her 21:37.98 is a new school record, just bettering the 21:38.1 that K. Marsh ran to win the NE10 title.
The pair are joined by two teams from the NE10 on the women's side and two other individuals from the conference.
