Mansfield, Mass. - Coming off a Northeast-10 Conference victory over American International College, first year David Luberoff of Adelphi men's basketball has been named the NE10 Rookie of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday. 

In his third start as a Panther, Luberoff nearly notched a double-double, responsible for 11 points and nine rebounds in an Adelphi win over American International. He shot 62.5 percent from the field and grabbed one steal to boot.

Reigning NE10 Rookie of the Year Dayshaun Walton has continued his scoring ways, leading the team in their victory over the Yellowjackets to secure a spot on the weekly honor roll. He went 5-for-11 from the field to finish with 25 points for the Panthers. 

Adelphi begins its two-game road swing this week, starting with Southern Connecticut on Tuesday, Nov. 21.
