Mansfield, Mass. - For the second time this season, the Adelphi University women's 4x400 has received the honor of Northeast-10 Relay Team of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.
The women's 4x400 relay of Katherine Marsh, Nikki Searles, Christina Gayle and Isabel Marsh ran to a fourth place finish at the Ramapo College Opener, finishing behind three Division I squads. Their time of 4:09.45 stands as the third best time in the NE10 after the weekend.
Earning inclusion on the weekly Honor Roll are I. Marsh and Lauren Toland. The pair won their respective events, with Toland's height of 2.80m just .10 behind the best from NE10 competition this season. At the William Sutherland meet, she bested two other competitors from nearby New Haven. Marsh ran a three-second PR in the 600m with a time of 1:37.86 to win at the Ramapo College Invite.
The track and field squads will be split up this weekend at two different sites - half the crew will head to Boston for the annual John Thomas Terrier Invite and the rest will attend the Monmouth Winter Classic.
