Staten Island, N.Y. - Back at the Ocean Breeze Complex for the third time this season, members of the men's and women's track and field programs competed at the Fastrack National Invite over the weeked, ahead of the Northeast-10 Conference Championships.

Amari Johnson ran the 60m dash in a time of 8.08 for a new career best time to place first overall at the Fastrack National Invite at Ocean Breeze in the college division. She also clocked in at 9.06 in the 60 hurdles event, to place fourth overall and appear in the rankings for both among NE10 competition. Roodginia Guerrier also locked in a PR in the dash, with a 8.17 second finish to come in sixth. 

For the men, Andre Francis launched a 12.81m shot put for a new career mark, as Bryan Combary did the same in both the 60 dash and 60 hurdles races. Collin Heaney leapt 5.95m in the long jump at the Invite, in his first outing in the specialty. 

The teams will compete at the 2022 Indoor Championships at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center next weekend.
