New Orleans, La. - All-Region honorees for the 2018 NCAA Division II Cross Country season were recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following Regional Championship Weekend on Monday.
For the Panthers,
Nicole Julian placed 16th overall to earn All-Region accolades for the second consecutive season.
Last weekend, Julian clocked a finishing time of 23:06.3 to come in 16th in a field of 184 competitors. A season ago, she earned All-Region honors as well, but placed 19th with a time of 23:52.0.
Pacing five seconds behind her was the next to cross for the Adelphi harriers was
Amanda Ashe in a time of 23:26.20 for 26th overall, falling just outside the USTFCCCA mark to earn All-Region.
Overall the women's team placed seventh overall, up six spots from their 13th place finish 12 months ago.
