Wilson, N.C. - In the matter of five days, the Adelphi University women's golf team completed a pair of two-day tournament with the most recent Barton Women's Intercollegiate at the Wilson Country Club in North Carolina coming to a conclusion on Tuesday.

Lucy Stevens led the effor for the Panthers by finishing in a tie for 13th behind a two-day total of 175. Stevens improved three shots from day one to day two, going from a round of 89 to a score of 86 on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sydney White and Deanna Dempsey finished within two places of one another with 24th and 26th place finishes respectively. White shot a two round score of 192 (93-99) followed by a 200 from Dempsey. Dempsey improved 10 shots from the first to the second day, going from a 105 to a 95.

Mount Olive claimed the team championship, edging out the host Barton College and Franklin Pierce. However, the Ravens bring back an individual crown to New Hampshire as Camden Morrison carded a scored of 156 (75-81). 

The Brown and Gold are next in competition on Tuesday, March 29. The team is scheduled to travel to St. Davids, Pa. for the Eastern University Invitational at the St.Davids Golf Club.

Notes:
- The Panthers wrapped up the BrownGolf Tournament on Saturday with Stevens placing 31st.
