Indianapolis, Ind. – The Adelphi University women's golf team's season will continue in the NCAA Regional Tournament, marking the team's first appearance in program history, under the direction of Head Coach Bill Bresnan.

On Sunday evening, it was announced by the NCAA selection committee that the Panthers will be the No. 18 seed in the East Region. Adelphi will travel to Findlay, Ohio, with the University of Findlay serving as the host and the top seed.

The Panthers have been led this season by a plethora of talent, including former Northeast 10 Players of the Week Filippa Schulze Doering and Nikola Truhlarova.

Following their victory at the NE10 Championship during the fall portion of the season, the Panthers earned an automatic bid. Adelphi will be the lone representative from the Conference in this year's NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship.

The NCAA Regional will take place May 4–6, with each site consisting of both team and individual competition. All participants will compete over 54 holes, with the top five teams advancing to the championship. The NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship is scheduled for May 12–16 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
