Ashland, VA - The Adelphi University women's golf team closed out play at the Yellow Jacket Invitational in Ashland, Virginia on Sunday, March 22 at the Hollows Golf Club. Freshman Lucy Stevens paced the team, finishing as the highest individual player and moving up two spots from her day one standings, placing her in a tie for eighth overall.

Stevens paired her day one total of nine over par 81, with a second day score of eight over par 80 to finish with a 36 hole total of 161, earning her a tie for eighth. Teammate Julie Chen carded a 131 on day two, posted a two day score of 257, while Yvonne Liang's effort of 150 on day two gave her a score of 277, placing Chen and Liang in 59th and 60th overall.

The Panthers will return to the links on March 31, when they travel to Wayne, Pennsylvania to compete in the Eastern Spring Invitational.
