Baldwinsville, N.Y. - The Adelphi women's golf team traveled to the Timber Banks Golf Club on October 3 and 4 to participate in the LeMoyne College Fall Invitational.
Deanna Dempsey and
Julie Chen teed it up for the Panthers, placing 20th and 33rd in the field.
Franklin Pierce took home the team title with a two day total of 649, edging out Hamilton College (684). LeMoyne College (696), Southern New Hampshire (756) and Elmira (822) rounded out the top-five, while Franklin Pierce's Camden Morrison took top individual honors with a 36 hole score of nine over par 153 (77-76).
Dempsey posted rounds of 97 and 98 on her way to a two day total of 195 on the par 72 course, while Chen turned in 18 hole totals of 129 and 142 for a 36 hole score of 271.
Adelphi returns to the links on Sunday, October 18 when they travel to Rindge, N.H. to compete in the Franklin Pierce Shootout.
