A Mannix-to-Kitrys combo for three would give Adelphi a 23-point cushion to start the second half. SCSU McLaughlin would drain a triple with 15:10 left in the game, however the Owls still trailed Adelphi by 18, 57-39.

Back-to-back turnovers committed by the Blue and White would give Melanie O'Brien and Nuss to increase the lead to 28, the largest of the half, 76-48. With 3:56 left, the Owls would begin their fight back into the game, going on a 9-0 run, to bring them within 15 of the Brown and Gold, 90-75.
