Manchester, N.H. - The Adelphi University baseball team dropped both ends of a Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader against #4 Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday, falling 5-4 via a walkoff single in game one and folding 10-4 in game two. The Panthers now stand at 11-15 overall and 3-10 in the NE-10, and the Penmen improve to 28-4 overall and 11-2 in conference play.

Justin Farnum went a combined 6-9 on the day with a pair of three-hit games and a solo home run in the nightcap.
Anthony Zarrella walked three times in the opener to go with a 3-5 effort in game two, and
Nick Zito knocked three hits, scored twice and drove in a run.
Chris Pabisch started on the mound in the opener, allowing four runs on six hits with five strikeouts in five innings.
Matt Abramowitz took the loss on a James McGowan walkoff single, while
Jeff Andersen and
James McCormack combined to throw 2.1 innings of shutout relief.
A three-run seventh inning for the Panthers erased a 4-1 deficit, as a pair of errors and an RBI single by Farnum tied the game, but McGowan's two out single in the bottom of the ninth gave the Penmen the dramatic victory.
In game two, SNHU used a six-run outburst in the eighth inning to secure the 10-4 win.
Chris Murphy took the loss in relief after starter
Stephen Bove scattered six hits in five innings and allowed three runs.
The Panthers return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Felician College for a non-conference game at 7 p.m.
