Marshall, Minn. – After picking up major awards from the Northeast 10, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), the D2CCA and ABCA/Rawlings, the honors continue to roll in for Adelphi baseball's John Carver as he was announced as a D2CCA Third Team All-American on Thursday afternoon.
Carver is the Adelphi baseball program's second All-American in as many years, following his teammate Dawson Montesa, who was a 2025 All-American. The selection marks the first All-American for head coach Mike Gaffney in just his first season.
The right-hander was electric in his final season in the Brown and Gold, earning a 2.67 ERA and leading the Northeast 10 regular season in strikeouts (92) and batting average against (.186). The Lynbrook, N.Y., native was top five in the conference in wins (eight) and ERA. Nationally, Carver ranked first in Division II in strikeouts per nine innings (14.44) and 20th in both strikeouts and ERA.
