2012: Led team and set career high with 23 appearances out of the bullpen ... posted a 3-1 record ... logged 23.1 innings, allowing 24 hits and striking out 20 batters ... made seven consecutive appearances without allowing an earned run (3/6-3/22) ... threw an inning of shutout relief to earn win against Saint Thomas Aquinas (3/4) ... struck out a pair in scoreless inning of relief at nationally-ranked Lynn (3/12) ... earned win with one shutout inning and two strikeouts against Stonehill (3/25) ... picked up win in 0.2 innings in 10-6 win at Assumption (4/14) ... tossed two shutout innings with three strikeouts at Pace (4/17) ... threw season-high 3.2 innings and allowed just two hits with three strikeouts during 17-12 win over American Int'l (4/21).

2011: Appeared in six games with a 3.38 earned run average...struck out one batter in 5.1 innings.

2010: Appeared in four games and pitched five innings...recorded two strikeouts.

2009: Appeared in six games standing third on the team in lowest era with a 1.86... in 9.2 innings pitched he had eight strikeouts and kept the batting against average to a .270... game high of three strikeouts against Dowling College (4/29) and two assists against Pace (4/8).

At Chaminade High School: Was named all-league and all-academic team in senior year-Nassau-Suffolk CHSAA...posted a 3-1 record with a 1.91 ERA senior year...named to the FABL All Star Team.

Personal: Son of Thomas and Margaret Murphy...has one broter, Thomas, and one sister, Melissa...hobbies include playing the guitar and working out...his grandfather played for the Triple A affiliate of the Brooklyn Dodgers.
