Garden City, N.Y. - The men's lacrosse team will open its preseason schedule with scrimmages against Princeton and Stony Brook on Saturday, February 11. Each game will be held on the Campus of Stony Brook Univeristy in Stony Brook, N.Y.

Saturday's schedule

1 p.m. - Princeton vs. Adelphi

2:30 p.m. - Stony Brook vs. Adelphi

After this weekend, they will host Nassau Community College and Connecticut College two weeks from Saturday on February 25 for their final two preseason scrimmages.

The Panthers were selected as the number one team in the Northeast-10 Coaches' preseason polls and second in the country according to Lacrosse Magazine.

Last year, Adelphi finish their season with a mark of 16-3, 8-1 in NE-10 action and were crowned Conference Champions. Additionally, they made their first trip to the NCAA Tournament since 2001 and finished as the National runner up.
